Empaths: what to do when you get attacked online

After running a spiritual business for the past five years, I can’t count the number of times I’ve been attacked by someone on social media. When I use the word attacked, I’m referring to hateful, nasty, sexist, abusive and threatening comments.

I’ve heard it all — how naïve I am, thinking that the world should be a safe, loving, and equitable space. I’ve been told that being an empath is an illusion, it’s only a science fiction character. I’ve been told to F off with my progressive beliefs, I’ve been called a bitch, a communist and other insults.
